Terms of service

Terms for using mazenet.

Last updated 2026-09-05

These terms apply to the public site at mazenet.org, to sign-in at auth.mazenet.org, and to every mazenet-operated application you reach through that sign-in.

Accounts

An account identifies you to mazenet services. You may create one directly or by signing in with Google. Keep your credentials to yourself, tell us at admin@mazenet.org if you think they have been compromised, and do not share an account with anyone else.

Having an account does not by itself grant access to any service. Access is assigned by an administrator and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. mazenet may suspend or delete an account that is inactive, abusive, or used contrary to these terms.

Acceptable use

Use the services only for what you have been granted access to. Do not attempt to bypass authentication or authorisation, probe or overload the infrastructure, access another person's data, or use the services for anything unlawful. Security research on mazenet systems is welcome only with prior written agreement.

Availability and changes

The services are provided as they are and as available. mazenet operates a small infrastructure with no service-level commitment to the public. Features, hostnames and services may change or be withdrawn without notice, though account holders are told in advance where practical.

Your data

How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, mazenet is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. Material changes are announced to account holders by e-mail.
